Gb Gcr15 Material Various Annealing Processes - China

1 - Incomplete Annealing: Heat GB GCr15 material to 770-790°C, hold, and then cool to below 550°C in the furnace.

Remove from the furnace and air cool.

Hardness requirement: 187-229 HBS.

Process characteristics: Ac1 = 745°C, Accm = 900°C.

Heating temperature should be between Ac1 and Accm.

2 - Isothermal Spheroidizing Annealing: Heat GB GCr15 material to 770-790°C, isotherm at 680-700°C, then cool to below 550°C in the furnace and air cool.

Hardness requirement: 187-229 HBS.

Process characteristics: Heating temperature should be between Ac1 and Accm.

The isothermal temperature should be 20°C below the Ar1 = 700°C line to obtain granular pearlite.

3 - Stress relief annealing: heating to 600~700℃, keeping warm, furnace cooling, mold steel hardness requirement is 187~229HBS, GB GCr15 material.

Stress relief annealing process characteristics eliminate residual stress and eliminate work hardening.
