EN X210Cr12 material is a high-carbon, high-chromium ledeburitic cold work die steel, belonging to the German standard (DIN) material system, corresponding to internationally used grades such as American standard D3, Japanese standard SKD1, and Chinese standard Cr12 - The dense distribution of high-carbon chromium carbides (approximately 20% by volume) is the source of its ultra-high wear resistance, but it also leads to a tendency for carbide segregation, requiring optimization of smelting and forging processes to improve uniformity.

EN X210Cr12 material physical and mechanical properties: Hardness: Annealed hardness is 217-269 HBW; after quenching and low-temperature tempering, it can reach 60-64 HRC, with a peak hardness of 66 HRC (oil quenching at 975℃).

Strength: Tensile strength ≥2000 MPa, yield strength 1700 MPa, compressive strength over 2600 MPa (low-temperature tempered state).

Toughness: Impact toughness is approximately 20 J, significantly lower than tough steels; brittleness is its main weakness.

Thermal properties: Thermal conductivity 41.2 W/m·℃; coefficient of thermal expansion 11.3×10⁻⁶/℃ (20-100℃); poor high-temperature plasticity.
