Heat treatment is crucial for maximizing the performance of Z200C12 steel and requires phased control: Process Stage | Temperature Range | Cooling Method | Target Hardness (HRC) Quenching | 950-1030℃ | Oil or Air Cooling | 60-65 Low-Tempering | 180-250℃ | Air Cooling | 60-62 Medium-Tempering | 250-350℃ | Air Cooling | 58-60 High-Tempering | 500-520℃ | Air Cooling | 55-57 Single Hardening Method (Low Quenching + Low Tempering): Quenching at 1020-1040℃ + low-temperature tempering, suitable for high wear resistance applications (such as blanking dies).

Double Hardening Method (High Quenching + High Tempering): Quenching at 1080-1120℃ + multiple high-temperature temperings (3-5 times), achieving a hardness of 59-64 HRC, but Z200C12 steel has lower toughness, suitable for tools requiring high red hardness.

Note: Medium-temperature quenching (1050℃) + high-temperature tempering (500-520℃) can balance the strength and toughness of Z200C12 steel and reduce the risk of cracking during subsequent processing.
