High carbon (1.50-1.60%) and high chromium (11.0-12.5%) form a large amount of hard chromium carbides.

Wear resistance is 2-3 times that of ordinary die steels, resisting the intense friction and abrasive wear of metal wire/billets during cold heading.

High Hardness and Compressive Strength** Hardness can reach HRC 58-62 after heat treatment.

Extremely high compressive yield strength, not easily collapsing or deforming under strong cold heading pressure, ensuring product dimensional accuracy.

**Good Hardenability and Dimensional Stability** Air quenching/oil quenching characteristics, minimal deformation after heat treatment, suitable for complex cavity dies.
