This powder exhibits excellent chemical stability, remaining inert at room temperature when exposed to water or dilute acids.
It dissolves slowly only in concentrated nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, making it ideal for manufacturing corrosion-resistant components.
When mixed with nickel-based alloy powder, the resulting spray-welded layer combines both wear resistance and corrosion resistance, finding widespread application in critical areas such as stirrer shafts and inner walls of reactors in chemical equipment.
It can withstand prolonged exposure to acidic and alkaline solutions.
The powder has good flowability, with a bulk density of 2.8–3.2 g/cm³, making it suitable for continuous feeding in automated spray coating equipment, ensuring uniform coating thickness.
