GB W6Mo5Cr4V2 is the national standard grade of China for tungsten molybdenum high speed steel, fully corresponding to AISI M2, DIN 1.3343 and JIS SKH51 - It remains the backbone grade for cutting tools and wear parts because of its well balanced combination of hardness, toughness and red hardness.

GB W6Mo5Cr4V2 Standard Requirements:

- Chemical composition: C 0.80-0.90%, W 5.50-6.75%, Mo 4.50-5.50%, Cr 3.80-4.40%, V 1.75-2.20%

- Delivery condition: annealed, hardness not higher than 255 HB

- Grain size and carbide distribution checked per GB/T 9943 standard

- Every heat verified by spectrochemical analysis before release Product Forms We Supply:

- Round bar from 8mm to 300mm diameter

- Flat bar, plate, sheet and forged blocks

- Peeled, turned, milled or ground surfaces on request

- Cut to length and cut to drawing service included Performance After Correct Heat Treatment:

- Hardening at 1210-1230 C followed by triple tempering at 540-560 C

- Working hardness 63-65 HRC

- Red hardness maintained at cutting temperatures up to 600 C
