GB W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel plate is the flat product form of China's most popular tungsten molybdenum high speed steel, equivalent to AISI M2, DIN 1.3343 and JIS SKH51 - It is widely used for making saw blades, cutters, punches and die parts that need both high hardness and good toughness.

Chemical Composition of GB W6Mo5Cr4V2 steel plate (typical):

C 0.80-0.90% | Si max 0.45% | Mn max 0.40% | Cr 3.8-4.4% | Mo 4.5-5.5% | W 5.5-6.75% | V 1.75-2.2% Plate Supply Range:

- Thickness: 2mm to 200mm

- Width and length: saw cut to your drawings on request

- Surface: black forged, milled or ground

- Delivery condition: annealed, hardness max 255 HB Key Performance Features:

- Hardness after quenching and triple tempering: 63-65 HRC

- Excellent red hardness, cutting edges stay sharp at working temperatures up to 600 C

- Uniform carbide distribution ensures stable wear resistance

- Good machinability in annealed condition Heat Treatment Reference:

- Hardening: 1210-1230 C, quench in oil, salt bath or vacuum furnace

- Tempering: three cycles at 540-560 C, final hardness 63-65 HRC
