Corrosion Resistant Titanium Carbide Guide Wheel - China

Carbide titanium carbide guide wheel is the key guiding parts in the production of wire and pipe, which is made of high purity titanium carbide and cobalt bonding phase sintered by powder metallurgy, with surface hardness as high as HRC88, and abrasion resistance is more than 50 times that of steel guide wheel.

Its roundness error is controlled within 0.002mm, ensuring that the wire in high-speed drawing (speed up to 100m/s) when running smoothly to avoid jitter or offset.

In the production of stainless steel wire, the use of this guide wheel can make the wire surface roughness from Ra1.6μm to Ra0.4μm, significantly improving product quality.

The corrosion resistance of this guide wheel is extremely strong, in the humid environment containing chloride ions (such as seaside factories) used for more than 5 years without rust, while the traditional steel guide wheel can only be used for 3 months.

Its internal organisation is dense, with a porosity of less than 0.1%, which effectively prevents the coolant from seeping into the interior and causing cracks.

During the drawing process of copper tube, the friction coefficient between the guide wheel and the copper tube is as low as 0.08, which can reduce the scratches on the surface of the copper tube and increase the qualified rate of the finished product from 85% to 99%.
