Chromium Carbide Powder For Cemented Carbides With Customized Particle Size - China

Chromium carbide powder is a gray-black powder with melting point of about 1890°C and Mohs hardness of 8.5, it has excellent wear resistance and oxidation resistance, and is an important raw material for the preparation of wear-resistant coatings and cemented carbide.

The purity of the powder can be up to 99% or more, chromium content ≥75%, carbon content 10-15%, particle size can be controlled at 1-10μm, suitable for different sintering and spraying processes.

In the iron and steel industry, it can be coated on the surface of rolls through plasma spraying technology, which can extend the service life of rolls by 3-5 times and reduce the rolling cost.

The powder has good chemical stability, does not react with water and dilute acid at room temperature, and only slowly dissolves in concentrated nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, making it suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts.

Mixed with nickel-based alloy powder, made of spray welding layer is both wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, widely used in chemical equipment, such as stirring shafts, reactor walls, etc., can withstand long-term erosion of acid and alkali solutions.

The powder has good fluidity, with a bulk density of 2.8-3.2g/cm³, which facilitates the continuous supply of powder to automated spraying equipment and ensures uniform coating thickness.
