SNCM220 hardened steel is a medium-carbon alloy carburizing steel characterized by high wear resistance and long service life.

Its carbon content is 0.17%-0.23%, and the carburizing process can increase the surface carbon concentration to 0.7%-1.0%, forming a carbide reinforcing phase and improving the surface hardness and wear resistance of SNCM220 hardened steel.

The nickel content is 0.40%-0.70%, which stabilizes the austenitic matrix, improves low-temperature toughness and fatigue strength, and helps extend the material's service life under complex working conditions.

Carburizing is carried out in an environment of 920-950℃, allowing carbon atoms to diffuse, achieving a surface carbon concentration of 0.7%-1.0% and forming a hardened layer 0.8-1.5mm deep, providing the material with excellent wear resistance.

The surface hardness of the carburized layer of SNCM220 hardened steel can reach 60-62 HRC, while the core hardness is 25-35 HRC.

This hardness gradient achieves a perfect balance between wear resistance and impact resistance.

Its tensile strength is ≥1176MPa, impact toughness is ≥78J/cm², and contact fatigue strength is ≥3000MPa.

It can withstand high contact fatigue and impact loads, and is not prone to wear, cracks or other problems in actual use, thus ensuring a long service life.
