​​3 - Surface quality requirements High-quality GOST 30ХМА plate has strict restrictions on the surface decarburization layer (such as the decarburization depth of quenched and tempered cold heading steel is required to be ≤0.02mm).

Compared with other processes Compared with hot working: cold working has higher precision (IT7-IT8 level) and lower surface roughness (Ra 0.2-0.6μm), but hot working is more suitable for large-sized or high-deformation-resistan t materials.

​​Comparison with warm processing: Warm extrusion (300-600°C) can balance deformation resistance and oxidation problems and is suitable for medium-volume production of 30XMА.
