Complete Material Aisi 5130 Steel Casting Process - China

Casting: The refined molten steel is transferred to the continuous casting table and poured into the tundish for continuous casting.

After solidification, AISI 5130 steel slabs are produced.

During the continuous casting process, parameters such as casting temperature and casting speed must be carefully controlled to ensure the quality of the slabs and avoid defects such as cracks and shrinkage cavities.

Subsequent Processing: After the slabs cool, AISI 5130 steel can undergo subsequent processing, such as grinding and rolling, to obtain the final steel product.

For example, the slabs are fully peeled to remove surface defects.

After heating, rough rolling, and finishing rolling, they are then produced into plates, pipes, or profiles of various specifications.
