Titanium Carbide powder is a gray-black high hardness ultra-fine powder with the chemical formula of TiC, which has both metal and ceramic properties.

Its hardness is close to diamond, microhardness of 2800-3200HV, melting point up to 3140 ℃, with excellent resistance to high temperature, wear and chemical stability, in the acid and alkali environment can still maintain structural integrity.

It is prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), high temperature self-propagation synthesis and other processes, which can precisely control the particle size and purity.

As a key raw material, titanium carbide powder is widely used in the preparation of cemented carbide cutting tools, metal-ceramic composites, and as a coating material to enhance the surface performance of workpieces, and also plays an important role in aerospace, mold manufacturing and other fields, giving products higher strength and durability.

This powder has good electrical and thermal conductivity, with a conductivity of 3×10⁴S/m and a thermal conductivity of 35W/(m-K), and can be used to make conductive ceramics, heating elements, etc.

After compounding it with copper powder, the composite material made of it has both high hardness and high conductivity, which is suitable for making EDM electrodes, and the electrode loss rate is reduced to less than 0.1%.

The particle size distribution of the powder is narrow, and the ratio of D50 to D90 is less than 1.5, which can ensure the uniform density of the molding blank and reduce the deformation after sintering.

In the field of electronic encapsulation, it can be used to prepare high thermal conductivity encapsulation materials to solve the heat dissipation problem of chips.
