Titanium carbide alloy round bar is a high-performance material made of titanium carbide as a matrix, with the addition of metal or ceramic reinforcing phase.

Its appearance is silver grey metallic luster, smooth surface, excellent hardness and wear resistance, hardness up to 2800-3200HV, close to the hardness of diamond, can effectively resist high load friction and cutting wear.

At the same time, it has good high temperature resistance, in the high temperature of more than 1000 ℃ can still maintain structural stability and mechanical properties, strong oxidation resistance.

Tungsten carbide and titanium carbide round bars can be customised with different properties by adjusting the titanium carbide content (usually 70%-90%) and binder ratio.

The higher the titanium carbide content, the greater the wear resistance and the better for rough machining; the higher the binder ratio, the greater the toughness and the better for finishing.

Titanium carbide has a density of only 6.5 g/cm3, which is 20% lighter than a tungsten carbide rod of the same size, making it suitable for lightweight tools.
