Titanium carbide powder is a kind of gray-black ultra-fine powder, the average particle size between 0.5-5μm, with high melting point, high hardness characteristics.
It is the core raw material for the preparation of titanium carbide cemented carbide and ceramic materials, and in powder metallurgy, it can be made into high-performance alloy by mixing with cobalt and nickel powder and sintering.
The powder has good sphericity, good fluidity, and loose packing density of 2.5-3.0g/cm³, which can ensure the composition uniformity of the sintered products and avoid porosity or segregation.
In the production of cemented carbide, the addition of titanium carbide powder can increase the wear resistance of the alloy by 20-30%, which is widely used in cutting tools, molds and other fields.
