Titanium Carbide Hard Alloy Round Bars With Excellent Anti Chipping Performance - China
price: 12.80 Dollar US$
Hard alloy titanium carbide round rods can be tailored into products with varying properties by adjusting the titanium carbide content (typically ranging from 70% to 90%) and the proportion of the binder phase.
A higher titanium carbide content enhances wear resistance, making the material suitable for rough machining applications.
Conversely, increasing the binder proportion improves toughness, rendering it more appropriate for fine machining processes.
With a density of only 6.5 g/cm³, these rods are approximately 20% lighter than tungsten carbide rods of the same dimensions, making them ideal for the production of lightweight tools.
In the 3C electronics industry, they are commonly used to machine precision components such as mobile phone frames and laptop shells, ensuring scratch-free surfaces and minimal dimensional deviations.
Cemented carbide titanium carbide round rods are high-performance materials fabricated through powder metallurgy, with titanium carbide serving as the primary hard phase and cobalt or nickel acting as the binder phase.
These rods exhibit a hardness exceeding HRC85 and demonstrate significantly superior wear resistance compared to conventional steel.
Even under high-temperature conditions exceeding 500°C, they maintain stable mechanical performance.
The dimensional accuracy of these rods is exceptionally high, with diameter tolerances controlled within ±0.01 mm and surface roughness as low as Ra 0.02 μm.
They are highly suitable for the manufacture of precision cutting tools and mold cores.
When used to machine difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloys, tools made from this material can achieve tool life 10 to 20 times longer than that of high-speed steel tools, thereby substantially improving production efficiency.
