Heat Treatment Guidelines
The heat treatment process for EN BS BA2 steel includes casting and forging, reheating and tempering, and stress relief steps.
For example, the preheating temperature before forging is 650-680°C, the forging temperature is maintained at 1050-1100°C, the final forging temperature should not be lower than 900°C, and slow cooling is required after forging to avoid cracking.
