EN BS BH13 is the British Standard designation of hot-working tool steel, chemically equivalent to AISI H13, DIN 1.2344 and ASSAB 8407 - With a balanced 5% chromium - molybdenum - vanadium chemistry, it delivers excellent hot hardness, high hardenability and strong resistance to thermal fatigue and softening at elevated temperatures.

After quenching and tempering it reaches a uniform hardness of 44-52 HRC with good dimensional stability.
