Cost-effective 10 Gigabit Modules Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications.

Product overview UPONCOMM 10GBase-BX series single mode transceiver is small form factor plug module for duplex optical data communications by IEEE 802.3ae.

It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.

The module is designed for single mode fiber.

The transmitter section is class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825 - The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.

This module support Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functions according to the industry-standard SFF-8472 Multisource Agreement (MSA).

This feature gives the end user the ability to monitor real-time parameters of the SFP, such as optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current, and transceiver supply voltage.
