The preheating temperature is generally 200-300℃ to prevent cracks from occurring when the DIN 1.6511 material billet contacts the die due to excessive temperature difference.

Heating: Heat the DIN 1.6511 material billet to the appropriate forging temperature range, usually 850-1200℃.

During the heating process, pay attention to controlling the heating rate to avoid excessive temperature difference between the inside and outside of the billet due to excessive heating, which will cause thermal stress.

For large-sized billets, the heating rate should be slower.

At the same time, the temperature in the furnace should be uniform to prevent local overheating or overburning of the billet.
