A pneumatic ball valve — also referred to as an air operated ball valve or pneumatically actuated ball valve — is a quarter-turn shut-off or control valve that uses compressed air as its power source.
A pneumatic actuator converts air pressure into mechanical torque, rotating the internal ball 90° between the fully open and fully closed positions.
