1 - Product Overview

The ANTE 10 ton hydraulic coil decoiler is a powered steel coil unwinding machine developed for steel drum sheet preparation lines.

The machine supports steel coils weighing up to 10 metric tons and with widths up to 1, 000 mm.

A hydraulic expansion mandrel grips the coil from its inner diameter, while the motor-driven spindle and Variable Frequency Drive provide adjustable uncoiling speed for coordination with downstream equipment.

A hydraulic loading car assists with coil lifting, alignment and positioning onto the mandrel.

The hydraulic outboard support arm supports the free end of the spindle after loading, helping maintain stability when handling heavy coils.

This hydraulic coil decoiler machine is mainly used before a precision straightener, servo feeder, automatic shearing machine and sheet stacking system.

It is suitable for preparing steel blanks used in standard 200L and 210L drum production.

2 - Working Principle

The decoiler operates on a simple yet highly effective hydraulic clamping and powered rotation system for precise control.

● Core Structure: The machine consists of a heavy-duty welded frame, a central expanding mandrel, a hydraulic power unit, a loading car, and a VFD-controlled main motor.

● Control Logic: The exact control method should be confirmed according to the complete production line configuration.

An operator initiates the cycle, and the machine executes the uncoiling at a preset speed that synchronizes with the next machine in line.

Process Flow:

● Loading: A loading car transports the steel coil and positions it onto the machine's central mandrel.

● Clamping: A hydraulic cylinder expands the mandrel segments outward, securely gripping the coil from the inside diameter (Φ470-530mm).

● Feeding: The powered mandrel rotates, uncoiling the strip.

The VFD allows for adjust the uncoiling speed according to production requirements and synchronization with the downstream equipment.
