Applications

• Water Treatment: Highly effective scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, especially for calcium carbonate scaling in recirculating cooling water systems, oilfield injection water, and industrial water treatment (thermal power plants, refineries, etc.

).

• Chelating Agent: Used in textile printing & dyeing as a metal ion chelating agent, and in metal surface treatment processes.

• Material Stability: Exhibits excellent chemical stability, low hydrolysis tendency, and maintains efficacy even under high concentration conditions.

• Solid Form: Crystalline powder, low water solubility, non-hygroscopic—suitabl e for transport and use in cold climates.

• General Water Treatment: 1–20 mg/L

• As Corrosion Inhibitor: 20–60 mg/L

• Commonly used in combination with other phosphonic acids, polycarboxylic acids, or their salts to formulate water treatment blends for various water qualities.
