    Delivery Conditions: DIN 100Cr6 bearing steel is typically delivered in eight different conditions: hot-rolled (forged) annealed, unannealed, annealed and peeled steel, cold-drawn (rolled) round steel, polished round steel, hot-rolled steel tube, annealed and peeled steel tube, and cold-drawn (rolled) steel tube.

    Hardness: In the annealed state to produce spheroidal carbides, the Brinell hardness of DIN 100Cr6 bearing steel is typically no greater than 207 HBW.

    If spheroidal carbides are annealed and then cold-worked, the Brinell hardness is generally no greater than 241 HBW.

    After oil quenching, this bearing steel can achieve a hardness of 62 to 66 HRC.

    If low-temperature tempering at 150°C-170°C followed by air cooling is performed, the Rockwell hardness can still be maintained in the 61-66 HRC range.
