25CrMo4 Steel Forging
Forging blank blanking: According to the size and shape of 25CrMo4 steel, calculate and cut the forging blank of appropriate size.
Forging blank heating: Heat the forging blank to the appropriate forging temperature range.
The forging temperature of 25CrMo4 steel is generally 954-1204℃ (1750-2200°F).
Roll forging blank preparation: The heated forging blank is initially rolled through the roll forging process to make its shape and size closer to the finished part, while improving the internal structure of the metal.
Die forging: The roll forged blank is placed in the die, and pressure is applied by a press or an electro-hydraulic hammer to cause the blank to undergo plastic deformation in the die to form the desired part shape.
Trimming and punching: Remove the flash on the edge of the die forging, and perform punching and other operations at the required locations.
Correction: Correct the 25CrMo4 steel so that its size and shape meet the tolerance requirements.
Intermediate inspection: Check the size, surface quality and internal defects of 25CrMo4 steel forgings to ensure that they meet the requirements of subsequent processing
