1 - Surface Cleaning

Before any surface treatment, ISC T23352 mold steel must first undergo thorough cleaning.

2 - Surface Pre-treatment

Pre-treatment processes include sandblasting and phosphating.

Sandblasting removes residual surface oxides by propelling abrasive particles at high speeds while simultaneously increasing surface roughness, creating better conditions for the adhesion of subsequent coatings.

Phosphating, on the other hand, utilizes a chemical reaction to form a dense phosphate protective film on the steel surface; this not only improves corrosion resistance but also enhances the bonding strength of the coating.
