Painting

Topcoat: alkyd enamel, polyurethane topcoat, etc., have good weather resistance and decorative properties, can resist ultraviolet rays and moisture erosion, and extend the life of the coating.

Metal plating

Galvanizing: It is divided into hot-dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing.

Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the steel plate in zinc liquid to make the zinc layer adhere, with low cost and strong corrosion resistance; electro-galvanizing is to pass current in the electrolyte to deposit zinc ions on the surface of the steel plate, the coating is uniform and bright, but the cost is higher and the corrosion resistance is slightly weaker.

Corrosion inhibitor treatment

Apply corrosion inhibitor on the surface of aisi 4140 steel plate, adsorb on the surface to form a protective film, inhibiting corrosion reaction.

Commonly used for temporary corrosion protection during short-term storage or transportation, such as sulfonate and phosphate corrosion inhibitors.

Surface modification

Phosphating treatment: Immerse the aisi 4140 steel plate in the phosphating solution to form a phosphate conversion film on the surface, which improves the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the coating and is often used as a pre-treatment process for coating.

Passivation treatment: Treat the surface of the aisi 4140 steel plate with solutions such as chromate and molybdate to form a passivation film on the metal surface, reduce the corrosion rate, and improve corrosion resistance.
