    Key manufacturing processes of W-Nr 1.7225 steel (1) Heat treatment process Tempering and tempering of W-Nr 1.7225 steel (quenching + tempering): obtain the best strength and toughness combination (such as hardness HRC 28-32).

    Surface strengthening: Induction hardening: local hardening (tooth surface, bearing seat), hardness HRC 50-60 - Nitriding/carburizing: improve surface wear resistance (such as gears).

    (2) Processing and forming Precision forging: suitable for complex shapes (such as crankshaft blanks).

    Machining: CNC turning/milling to ensure dimensional accuracy (such as gearbox gears).

    Welding: preheating (200-300℃) and use low-hydrogen welding rods (such as E7018) are required.
