Titanium carbide powder is a gray cubic ferrous metallic surface powder with a crystalline structure, made from sodium chloride.
It is a very strong material with a Mohs hardness of 9-10 and a microhardness of 3000 kg/mm².
Titanium carbide has a high melting point (3140°C) and boiling point (4820°C).
It is insoluble in water, but soluble in nitric acid and aqua regia.
Titanium carbide is widely used in refractory materials, metal ceramics, hard alloys and other fields.
