Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels serve as critical guiding components in the manufacturing of wire and tubular materials.

These components are fabricated through powder metallurgy sintering using high-purity titanium carbide and cobalt binder phases, achieving a surface hardness of up to HRC88 and exhibiting wear resistance exceeding 50 times that of conventional steel guide wheels.

The roundness error is maintained within 0.002 mm, ensuring smooth wire movement during high-speed drawing processes (up to 100 m/s) and effectively preventing vibration or misalignment.

In stainless steel wire production, the implementation of these guide wheels reduces wire surface roughness from Ra1.6 μm to Ra0.4 μm, thereby significantly enhancing product quality.

The guide wheels can be customized with various groove geometries—such as V-shaped, U-shaped, and semi-circular profiles—based on specific wire or tube dimensions, enabling adaptability to diverse manufacturing requirements.

Following precision polishing, the surface roughness can reach as low as Ra0.01 μm, minimizing friction-induced wire damage and increasing the tensile strength of metallic wires by approximately 10%.

In automotive brake cable manufacturing, the consistent guidance provided by these components ensures uniform cable tension and mitigates the risk of in-service failure.
