This chromium carbide powder is dark gray-black in color, with a particle size of 20-50 μm.
It exhibits outstanding high-temperature stability, maintaining its performance below 800℃.
It can be applied by overlay welding to the blast mouths of metallurgical blast furnaces and the surfaces of hot rolling machine rollers.
The resulting overlay layer is wear-resistant and resistant to high-temperature oxidation, which can reduce the frequency of maintenance for high-temperature operation equipment and ensure continuous production.
The chromium carbide powder has good wetting properties and is firmly bonded to metal substrates such as iron, nickel, and cobalt.
The coating is unlikely to develop cracks.
