Titanium carbide and tungsten carbide round bar is a high performance bar made by powder metallurgical process, with titanium carbide as main hard phase and cobalt or nickel as binder phase.
Its hardness is as high as HRC85 or above, and its wear resistance far exceeds that of ordinary steel, and it can still maintain stable performance even in high temperature environment above 500℃.
The size precision of this round bar is very high, the diameter tolerance can be controlled within ± 0.01mm, the surface roughness is as low as Ra0.02μm, very suitable for the production of precision cutting tools, mold cores and so on.
In the processing of stainless steel, titanium alloys and other hard-to-cut materials, the service life of tools made of it is 10-20 times longer than that of high-speed steel tools, which can significantly improve productivity.
