Mechanical cutting is a method of separating steel by physical external force.

It is suitable for various specifications of EN DIN 36CrNiMo4 steel, especially for small and medium-sized workpieces or rough processing with low precision requirements.

1 - Sawing:

- Commonly used equipment: band saws, circular saws.

- Features: low cost, simple operation, suitable for cutting bars and plates.

Due to the high strength of 36CrNiMo4 steel, high-speed steel or carbide saw blades are required.

Cooling and lubrication (such as cutting fluid) are required during cutting to avoid overheating and wear of the saw blade.

2 - Shearing:

- Suitable for thinner plates (generally ≤10mm), the upper and lower cutting edges of the shearing machine are used to squeeze and separate the materials.

- Note: Shearing of thick plates is prone to large deformation and burrs, which require subsequent trimming.

3 - Milling/planing:
