Equipped with four independent cassette hoppers, this tissue cassette printer automates the labeling of histology cassettes with patient identification data, alphanumeric text, linear barcodes, and 2D matrix codes — eliminating handwritten labels and the transcription errors that accompany them.

Each of the four independent slots holds a stack of cassettes, allowing the operator to: Load cassettes of different colors into separate hoppers for color-coded specimen categorization (e.g., biopsy type, urgency level, department)

Load different cassette types (standard, biopsy, lidded) simultaneously without changeover downtime

Run large batch print jobs without interruption, as each hopper replenishes the print queue independently

Continue printing from remaining hoppers if one runs empty — eliminating the complete workflow stop caused by single-hopper systems
