Ptfe-Lined Metal Hose

PTFE-lined metal flexible hoses are a type of special flexible tubing with a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as "tetrafluoroethylene") lining the inner wall of a metal hose.

The core consists of a 304/316L stainless steel corrugated pipe body, a stainless steel braided reinforcement layer (optional), and a food-grade/industrial-gra de PTFE lining.

The PTFE-lined metal flexible hose adopts a composite integrated structure of "metal load-bearing + PTFE corrosion resistance".

All components are assembled collaboratively through precision processes.

The core design revolves around the dual requirements of "extreme corrosion resistance + flexible conveying", consisting of a PTFE inner lining, a metal corrugated pipe body, a stainless steel braided mesh (optional), dedicated end connectors, and sealing components.

Firstly, the PTFE inner lining: As the core corrosion-resistant and cleanliness-ensuring layer, it uses high-quality polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material, tightly bonded to the inner wall of the metal corrugated pipe through molding, extrusion, or winding processes.

The lining thickness is uniform (typically 1-5mm, customized according to working conditions).

PTFE material possesses the characteristics of "acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, non-adhesion, and non-toxicity".

The smooth inner wall without dead corners prevents media retention and adhesion, while resisting the erosion of almost all strong corrosive media, and meeting food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade safety standards.

Secondly, the main body of the metal corrugated pipe: made of high-quality 304 or 316L austenitic stainless steel, processed through hydroforming technology.

The annular corrugated structure is the core of achieving flexible compensation, enabling axial expansion and contraction, lateral displacement, and angular deflection.

The stainless steel material ensures the structural strength and pressure resistance of the hose, while the 316L material further enhances overall corrosion resistance, making it suitable for outdoor or complex environments.
