GB ML30CrMo steel is a cold heading steel material that meets the national standard GB/T 6478 - Songshun specializes in supplying high-quality GB ML30CrMo steel.

1 - Excellent mechanical properties

Tensile strength σb: ≥932MPa (95kgf/mm²), which indicates the maximum tensile force that the material can withstand during the stretching process.

Yield strength σs: ≥785MPa (80kgf/mm²), which is the stress when the material begins to produce obvious plastic deformation.

Elongation δ5: ≥12%, which reflects the plastic deformation capacity that the material can withstand before tensile fracture.

Sectional shrinkage ψ: ≥50%, which is used to measure the degree of necking phenomenon of the material during tensile fracture, and reflects the plasticity of the material.

2 - Heat treatment specifications

Quenching: The temperature is 880℃, and the cooling medium is water or oil.

Through quenching, the steel can obtain martensitic structure and improve the hardness and strength of the steel.

Tempering: The tempering temperature is 540℃, water or oil cooling.

The purpose of tempering is to eliminate quenching stress, reduce the brittleness of steel, adjust the balance between hardness and toughness, and improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of steel.

3 - Application fields

Mechanical manufacturing: used to manufacture various mechanical parts with large forces and harsh working environments, such as shafts, gears, bearings, connecting rods, etc.

Petrochemical: can be used to manufacture various pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tanks and other equipment, as well as high-pressure pipes with a working temperature of no more than 250°C in nitrogen and hydrogen media.
