Processing Technology Gb 30cr Material Excellent Metallographic Structure - China

GB 30Cr is a commonly used alloy structural steel.

Its excellent metallographic structure is key to ensuring mechanical properties.

Based on different heat treatment processes, the excellent metallographic structure of GB 30Cr can be categorized into the following typical states:

1 - Annealed Excellent Metallographic Structure

- Microstructure: Primarily ferrite + pearlite, without obvious network carbides, Widmanstätten structure, or coarse grains.

2 - Quenched and Tempered (Quenched + High-Temperature Tempering) Excellent Metallographic Structure

- Microstructure: Primarily tempered bainite, without free ferrite, undissolved carbides, or residual quenched martensite.

- Tempered bainite: Composed of a fine, uniform ferrite matrix and dispersed granular carbides (alloy carbides, such as Cr₂₃C₆).

The grains are refined and evenly distributed, with no obvious banding or orientation.

3 - Excellent metallographic structure in the quenched state (for subsequent tempering)

- Microstructure: Uniform, fine martensite (primarily lath martensite), a small amount of retained austenite, and no overheated structures (such as coarse martensite, network carbides) or incompletely hardened ferrite.
