The coercive force of common low diamagnetic coercivity magnetic stripe are 300oe and 650oe (Oersteds as the unit of measure, abbreviated as oe).

650oe are commonly used in the Japanese market, Commonly-used high diamagnetic coercivity magnetic stripe are 2750oe and 4000oe.

The majority of hico bank cards adopt 2750oe, while 4000oe are commonly used in entrance guard system.
