Gy Molten Salt Submerged Chemical Pump - China

The molten salt pump (English name: Molten salt pump) is a specialized pump device for transporting high-temperature metal salts ranging from 400°C to 460°C.

Depending on its structure, it can be categorized into submerged molten salt pumps, axial flow molten salt pumps, and RXB-type molten salt circulation pumps.

These pumps are primarily used in solar thermal power generation, molten salt reactors, and chemical industries such as melamine production, alumina processing, and alkali manufacturing.

The submerged pump employs a centrifugal impeller and is suitable for low-flow, high-head scenarios, while the axial flow pump is designed for high-flow, low-head heat exchange applications.

The RXB-type pump is specifically engineered for molten salt circulation.

The GY-type molten salt submersible pump employs high-temperature-resistan t materials and a cooling structure, capable of transporting molten salt below 540°C with a flow range of 3-600 m³/h and a head of 10-70 m.

It features high efficiency, low vibration, and long service life, making it suitable for applications such as ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production and molten salt energy storage.

Installation requires ensuring ventilation and heat dissipation, avoiding external force on the outlet flange, and connecting the bearing cooling water pipes in parallel with a current meter for operational monitoring.

In solar thermal power plants, molten salt pumps facilitate energy storage and conversion by driving molten salt circulation between collectors, storage tanks, and heat exchangers

Temperature range: Standard type 400-460°C, ultra-high temperature type up to 700°C
