Product Description
Oxidized bitumen is high quality, general purpose oxidized bitumen for various applications.
Uses
*Foundation damp-proofing
*Built-up roofing systems.
*Roll and pour application of bitumen felts.
*Bonding of SBS modified membranes by hot mop method.
*Sealing of laps and joints of various bituminous felts and membranes.
*Wet area waterproofing.
*Bonding of wooden boards’ insulation panels.
*Road resurfacing and repair.
Application
*Heat the drum until the oxidized bitumen starts melting at approximately 130Deg.C. Apply by roller.
Squeegee or direct rolling to an average rate of 1Kg/sq.m.
*For hot mop application.
The membrane should be applied while
pouring to avoid re-cooling.
