How Does a Hand Shower Filter Work?
Water from your pipe enters the filter canister, which is filled with various filtration media.
As the water passes through these media, contaminants are reduced or removed through processes like: Adsorption: Contaminants stick to the surface of the filter media (e.g., activated carbon).
Redox (Reduction-Oxidation): A chemical reaction where media like KDF changes contaminants into harmless substances (e.g., chlorine into chloride).
Mechanical Filtration: Filtering out sediments and large particles through a physical barrier.
The cleaned water then exits the filter and flows through your hand showerhead.
