Refractory anchor is a kind of structure which joint and fix between the ceramic fiber products, refractory fire brick, monolithic refractory with the kiln metal wall plate.

According to the kiln Structure, furnace temperature and atmosphere.

◆ Description

Refractory anchors are used for fastening or securing linings or other materials inside processing equipment or furnaces.

They need to be heat resistant to withstand the internal temperatures of these devices.

◆ Applications

Anchors are mostly used as fixings for overall linings (linings of castable, plastic and sprayable materials).

Anchors are also used in refractory brick linings, but they are not used on many occasions.

Metal anchors are usually used to support and fix thin or insulated integral linings, such as chimney linings, wear-resistant linings of petrochemical catalytic cracking reactors (tortoiseshell mesh anchors are commonly used), and integral linings for spray metallurgy.

The lining body of the spray gun, the overall lining body of the dipping tube of the DH and RH vacuum degassing device, the lining body of the rotary kiln discharge day and feed port, etc.

Metal anchors are mostly used to fix linings with long-term use temperatures below 1200°C, or short-term linings with temperatures above 1200°C that can be used intermittently.

Ceramic anchors are usually used to secure thicker (greater than 200mm) integral liners.
