There has the coal in all of counties in Shanxi; the reserves are very big and it is distributed widely; the types are too many and the quality is very fine. There is 62.8 thousand square kilometers to have the coal, and it means 40 percent of all areas in the whole province. Now more than 120 types of minerals have been found, and the mineral sources of verified reserves have 53 types; coal reserves of forecast is more than 90 thousand million tons and the verified reserves are 26.08 thousand million tons, which means 1/3 of verified reserves in the whole country ; it is the first place in China and it is the most superior source in Shanxi Province. And there has coke of first class, second class and third class, which are in International Standard.
