WESEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY was founded in Brooklyn, New York in the year 1888. The company moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1927 and became a Pennylvania Corporation in 1935. The company business began with the manufacture of precision equipment for the printing industry. In the early 1960's the company embarked on a new mission and began to design and manufacture special automated equipment for a host of industries. Since then we have developed into a multi faceted organization. We have invested heavily in expanding our manufacturing capabilities. Continuous upgrading of our facilities, equipment and enhancement of our overall capabilities assures that the company will be able to meet its current and future commitments. We continue to meet new and exciting challenges through expansion and innovation.
WESEL offers diverse and flexible high tech solutions from design to full service contract manufacturing of metal parts, sub assemblies and complete assemblies. We are equipped to handle virtually any of our customers manufacturing, fabrication and assembly needs. We have a well diversified manufacturing facility consisting of 33,000 square feet with large capacities, modern machinery and a dedicated and knowledgeable staff which enables us to provide high quality products. We are committed to superior quality workmanship, fair and reasonable pricing and service excellence. Field service is handled by our factory qualified service engineers.
Strict quality control of the products produced by WESEL is a must and is handled by well equipped and highly trained quality control department. With the use of the department's Laser Interferometer capability for checking positioning accuracy on our CNC machines and on sophisticated motion control systems, our customers are assured of the accuracy they require and expect. With the companies fully staffed Mechanical and Electrical engineering departments which are equipped with the latest CAD/CAM capabilities and design equipment, they respond quickly to the ever changing demands of its customers. The flexibility of our engineering departments allows them to take advantage of the latest technological advances in the industry.
There's another side of WESEL...and that's WESEL MACHINERY, a division of WESEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY which is a leading machine tool sales and service organization. We take pride in our line of machine tool products. We also design and manufacture precision machinery, positioning systems, CNC machinery and Special Equipment for a variety of North American, Canadian and European markets.
Along with sales and service of machine tools, WESEL MACHINERY interfaces CNC controls and drive systems. We are a leading supplier of multi-axes motion control systems, special robotic controlled equipment and custom laser systems gun drilling machines, large XY tables which we build to customer requirements.
