Northern International Tianjin Silk Imp. & Exp. Corp., Ltd, which specializes in foreign trade, mainly deals with import and export of silk materials, silk piece goods, various garments, blankets and other relevant products as well as internal trade.
Our products are exported to dozens of coutries and regions such as United States, Canada, Europe, South America, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and India, among which 11 types of garments access 14 chain sales systems in such seven countries as United States, French, Germany and etc.
Consisted of Tianjin Yanshan Garment Company, Tianjin Yanda Garment Manufacture Company, Tianjin Jinsi Junda Fashion Company, and Tianjin Jinfang Garment Manufacture Factory, we boast our strong capacity of production and processing as well as high quality of our products. For example, the "Qing Qiao" brand silk shirt is awarded "Golden Star" Prize in Madrid International Expo of Spain. Furthermore, the "Seagull" Brand tampon wins consistent praise from customers due to its supreme quality. We also send out resident representatives in United States and Australia.
By the year 2000, in course of making full use of the advantage of stock company and arousing employees' enthusiasm, we focus on the improvement of company energy and power by restructuring operation system and increasing benefit. As a result, the total import and export value of our company in 2000 reaches to US$48.80 million, an increase of 34.14% over 1999. Particularly, export value is US$42 million, higher than the target by 40%, increasing by 40% over 1999. Our economic benefit is fulfilled excellently.
Strictly adhereing to the quality policy of considering our credit most important, ensuring high quality and efficiency, implementing scientific management and providing good service, we carry out quality management and held the certificate of ISO9002 quality system.
On account of our great success, we are ranked Grade "A" enterprise by Tianjin Customs and Bank of China. Moreover, Tianjin's municipal government assesses us one of the Top 50 export enterprises and leading company with democratic management.
