COMPANY PROFILE

StackRight Services Ltd of Derby, UK has recently launched an improved version of their stackable FIBC (bulk bag) frame storage system. (Patents Pending).
Giving up to 80% savings in warehousing requirements, this fully portable system will allow users to make more efficient use of their existing storage space or reduce the need to fund the building of new facilities.
Solidly built for strength, long life and safety, StackRight Services bulk bag frames safely stack up to five two-ton bulk bags and yet maintain a safety factor of 2.17. These frames are designed to give many years of constant use and as was pointed out by a spokesperson at StackRight Services, “stacking bags safely is certainly going to be less expensive than one industrial accident in terms of wasted product, potential injury and compensation claims, environmental clean-up and damage to reputation”
Designed primarily for manufacturers whose products tend to “shift or flow” when stored, the StackRight Services bulk bag frame storage system has been receiving enormous interest from a wide variety of FIBC users around the World.
Some users are even now looking at StackRight Services bulk bag frames for use in road transport. Designed to make the loading of bulk bags onto lorries much easier the frames are easily strapped down making for a safer load.
Back in the production and warehouse area though the safety benefits of these frames are also creating a lot of interest. By using this frame stacking system each bulk bag only supports its own weight therefore eliminating the potentially disastrous results of bag compression as found with some existing stacking methods. A loss prevention engineer; Mr. P. May recently said “in my opinion your, (StackRight Services), frames represent a significant step forward in the safe use of F.I.B.C’s (bulk bags) along with giving greater controls over stock and waste levels”
The system will also enable manufacturers who cannot stack bags due to the damage caused by the crushing of their product to use their storage facilities to maximum capacity.
Integral tine guides make StackRight Services bulk bag frames easy to use by one person and a forklift truck and eliminate the need for secondary wrapping prior to storage. At the same time the bags can be filled or emptied whilst in the frame and can even be incorporated into an on-line load cell weighing system to ensure consistent filling weights.
It is recognised that there is a problem with the potentially dangerous build up of static charge in some products stored in F.I.B.C’s. Although not yet fully proven it is thought that a StackRight Service’s bulk bag frame can act as a “Faraday Cage” and, with the additional use of adequate earthing provisions can help improve safe handling by dissipating static charge through the frame.
Moving over to bulk bags from existing 56lb sacks can give greater economies of scale and reduce the potential for personal injury and its associated costs. Using bulk bag frames can make for safer use of F.I.B.C’s and give maximum use of storage space.
