Digital all the Way The complete pre-press workflow from design to plates is carried out in-house using computers and computer based devices connected to a high-speed intranet. Visualisation, design and complete layout is done on G4 and G5 Mac based workstations; image inputs come from high resolution (over 8 Meg pixel) Digital photography or scanning on Scitex/Screen scanners; initial proofing is done by generating high resolution PDF files and sending them to the client over the internet, and then generating Kodak MatchPrints for digital proofing. Finally complete imposition is generated on the computer and ripped onto a Scitex CtP unit. All Shapes and Sizes In the production and post-production section we have a wide array of semi/fully-automatic machines. We have 1-, 2-, 4-, and 5- colour Heidelberg CPC offset printing machines in various sizes that can handle diverse print jobs. And then onto special coatings like varnish, UV and film laminate. The bindery can handle most jobs in-house: folding, saddle stitching, section stitching, perfect binding, dye punching and cutting, spiral/spiko binding, shrink wrapping, etc. For special fabrication jobs we have tie-ups with speciality fabricators.
