Started in the year 1979, SIPI Pharma was set up and invested by Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Industry (SIPI), a most comprehensive and China's supreme pharmaceutical research institute founded in 1957, with 700 strong force of chemical engineers.
Initially the company acted as a pilot plant venture of SIPI, offering manufacturing capabilities from gram scale-up to multi-ton lots for compounds under development.
