OmegaChem is a Canadian privately owned company, located in the Quebec-City metropolitan area. Since 1988, we supply the Pharmaceutical Industry with our catalog of FINE CHEMICALS and a wide range of value added Services to customers located in over 30 countries worldwide.
Our CATALOG PRODUCTS include BUILDING BLOCKS, a wide range of chiral derivatives of natural amino acids (aldehydes, alcohols, Boc-, Fmoc- and Cbz- protected amino function) and analogs (halides, hydroxy function, decarboxylated). The SPECIALTY REAGENTS include chiral auxiliaries and catalysts, protecting groups and various reagents such as the Dess Martin Periodinane oxydizing agent. As part of our customized services, we also specialize in developing small size functionalized heterocycles.
Our R&D and Production teams, consisting of a majority of Ph.D. level chemists, highly experienced in organic synthesis, offer our customers their expertise in CUSTOM SYNTHESIS, PROCESS OPTIMIZATION and small to the multi-kilogram scale PRODUCTION. We also conduct CONTRACT RESEARCH (FTE/CRO). In addition, we are pleased to offer our customers with our SOURCING service for rare and hard to find quality chemicals in small to bulk quantity and at a competitive price.
