Sabouni group is a result of rapid successful development of a private family company established in 1991 under the name of Salah al Deen Sabouni and Sons Co.
A simple flour & lentils mill at founding, Sabouni Co has made a steady progress diversifying its products and activities, aimed at consolidating its position in the Syrian Market as well as opening external markets.
Today three are the main branches:
Sabouni Co for Cereals Trading and Manufacturing. Processor, packer, trader and exporter of cereals, pulses, seeds, nuts and similar agricultural products.
Sabouni Co for Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing. A technical division at departure, in 1995 it becomes a separate affiliate company that produces a wide variety of milling, grinding, cleaning and sorting machines.
Sabouni Co – Agency for Sortex ltd, Fimet, MullerBeltex
The company hold agencies for well-known international companies as Sortex ltd /UK/ - optic sorting machines, Fimet /It/ - motors and gear motors, MullerBeltex /Nth/ - bucket elevators accessories.
Over the last three years Sabouni Co. for Cereals Trading and Manufacturing has tripled its sales, where 70% of increase came from exports in 2002. Export markets are Arabic Countries (for flour, pulses, spices) & Latin America (spices). In 2003 have made some spot exports to European Union (Greece), having the objective to establish a long-term business relationships with European companies.

The factory is equipped with modern machinery both from Syria and abroad, namely
Milling machines (Italy & Turkey)
Wide variety of machines for pulses and grains processing (produced by our affiliate for agricultural machinery manufacturing)
Optic sorting machines (Sortex LTD, United Kingdom)
